Ancelotti fed up, wants to get rid of €40m Real Madrid star. Ferland Mendy, a defender valued at €40 million, is apparently a target for Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
According to Diario GOL, Ancelotti has told Real Madrid’s board that he wants to trade Mendy during the summer transfer window because he is “fed up” with his attitude there.
According to the source, the former manager of Chelsea and Everton has grown impatient with the French left-back and does not intend to have him on his team for the upcoming campaign.
Since moving to Santiago Bernabeu, the Italian has not frequently deployed Mendy and has even switched Antonio Rudiger to left back.
Mendy was mentioned by Paris Saint-Germain earlier this season, and the French club is reportedly still interested in the 27-year-old.
The Parisians were willing to offer €40million to Real Madrid for Mendy’s signature and could return with the offer at the end of the season.
Mendy has played 14 La Liga matches for Los Blancos so far this season but has not convinced Ancelotti.
