Sha Sha’s Life Story
I’m 26 years old. Sha Sha, whose real name is Charmaine Mapimbiro, is a well-known singer, composer, and performer who was born in Zimbabwe but moved to South Africa to pursue her profession. She is well-known for her Amapiano style of music, her collaborations with well-known musicians, and her popular song “Tender Love.” She has developed a distinctive look for the industry.
Beginning and Family
Sha Sha is originally from the small Zimbabwean town of Mutare, but sadly for the singer, her parents divorced the day she was born. As a result, Sha Sha was raised by her grandmother and then moved in with her aunts. But her passion for music inspired her to join the choir at an early age and start taking piano lessons, both of which aided in her musical composition and development.

Sha Sha began recording professionally in 2017 after being introduced to DJ Maphorisa by her cab driver. This was her big musical break. Even though she began singing at a very young age, she didn’t take it seriously until a friend of hers submitted her music to one of Zimbabwe’s major radio stations. She then had the opportunity to meet with renowned producer Audius Mtawarira, who later served as her mentor. She has collaborated with a number of South Africa’s prominent rappers.
