PnB Rock Gunned Down During Robbery In Los Angeles

In the dark. One columnist had put it that way after growing weary of the country’s ongoing problem with gun crime. Maybe he has a point. At least, that’s the consensus at the moment after the rapper PnB Rock was killed at a Los Angeles restaurant. He was 30.

The singer apparently was dining with his girlfriend at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffle when an assailant burst in.

The musician, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was targeted for his jewelry, the source reported, citing the authorities.

The attacker displayed a gun and demanded stuff from Rock, according to Los Angeles police captain Kelly Muniz, who described what truly transpired that day. After exchanging words with the rapper, the assailant shot him, ran away, and got into a getaway car.

Since the rapper’s death was announced, condolences have been pouring in. DJ Akademiks thought back to a recent interview he had with PnB Rock, in which he had described how he had been the target of a robbery attempt while out with his partner and daughter in Los Angeles.

Sadly, death then came knocking.
This month saw the rapper’s most recent album, “Luv Me Again,” arrive.
