A man is said to return to the place where his bread is buttered. Dan Malesela, who apparently left Royal AM for Marumo Gallants, a team he had previously coached, may be an example of this.
Prior to joining Shauwn Mkhize’s club, Dan Malesela served as head coach of the DStv Premiership team. Before accepting the “Gallant call,” he had only been there for just less than two months.
He had worked with the Gallants up until the end of his contract before making fun of the flashy Royal AM side. He had also stated that his departure had been prompted in part by disagreements with the club’s administration.
It’s likely that he has handled any concerns he may have had with the Marumo Gallants and is now ready to resume doing what he loves the most given the rumors that he has rejoined the team he left last season.
It’s interesting to note that Royal AM had neither confirmed nor denied his departure at the time of writing. Malesela, on the other hand, had been named the Gallants’ head coach, according to a statement issued by Marumo Gallants. The video is embedded below.
