Thabiso Floyd Tshabalala, a promoter with the Twitter handle @francwear, drags DJ Maphorisa and threatens him.
The man claims that the DJ failed to pay him for the next Scorpion Kings concert with Kabza De Small, even though he is a key component of the show.
“I am the third member of Scorpion Kings Live at Sun Arena, and certainly, there won’t be an event without me. This time, your keeper has stolen from the wrong person—someone who doesn’t even respect your God!
When Lawd Phori refused to pay the man, the man began threatening him on Twitter.
“I’ll repeat it again: Your response deadline is today at 11:59 p.m., or else don’t go to
I called Kutlwano more than 3 times yesterday to try make him aware of the danger of hosting this event today and he never answered nor returned any of my calls!!
Today I will personally go lock @KonkaSoweto if you don’t cancel this event. https://t.co/j5Ngf2XTKw

In one of his final tweets, he asserts that Maphorisa is to blame for certain musicians’ suicidal thoughts. This assertion is thought to be connected to Sir Trill’s essay, in which he discussed how some bigger musicians in the industry oppressed him.
“People like @DjMaphorisa offer them heaven and earth only to deliver Hell with a dash of Gucci! This is why these youngsters are suicidal! You will receive discipline from me!
