Late Jamie Bartlett‘s girlfriend Rosa Onious speaks out

At the memorial in Zone 6, Soweto on Monday, late Jamie Bartlett’s girlfriend Rosa Onious expressed her grief over the death of her nearly four-year-long lover.
This came following the veteran actor’s send-off on June 2 at Cape Town’s St George’s Cathedral. After experiencing heart arrest, he died last month.

During the ceremony, Rosa was emotional and sobbing as she recalled their first date and how much of a gentleman he was to her, as well as their relationship’s growth. “I knew I’d found love,” she expressed her joy.

She was still in tears as she remembered all of their vacation plans and other misadventures that she had hoped to see them complete.

“Jamie and I both enjoyed traveling, and we had planned to do so this year for business… but God had other ideas.” I’m angry and heartbroken, but I’m trying to accept that wherever he is, he has a purpose. It’s challenging because a part of the house still smells like him.

“I remember Jamie telling me on the morning of his death how much he loved me and how he couldn’t imagine his life without me in it, and I feel the same way… I’m not sure how I’m going to accomplish it, but I know I’ll have to. I could never imagine my life without him.

Rosa dropped the letter and spoke from the heart, gushing over the love he spread to everyone he encountered, despite the fact that she had prepared a speech to honor him.

“He wanted everyone to feel special… He was a people’s person who wants to help, to offer affection.”
