Actress Camilla Waldman, Jamie Bartlett’s ex-wife, has broken her silence on social media following his death.
On June 2, the star was laid to rest at St. George’s Cathedral in Cape Town, in a private service attended by close friends and relatives.
Camilla shared an old family portrait on Instagram and wrote a lovely note to the veteran actor, recounting their journey together since 1992.
“Rest in peace,” she said. Jamie Bartlett, Hector’s father, a friend, a fellow actor, and a V8 Fairlane force, pressing me, us, to meet life — curious, fearless, rushing ahead to meet the ball — going big or not at all. I had seen your image before you arrived. We were both young at the time, and there was a lot we didn’t know. You also trembled.
