After being involved in a car accident in the Eastern Cape, gospel singer Thumeka Lothe has been in excruciating pain and is confined to her bed.
Kholekile Hlubi Qongqo and Nokhaya Baba Mahelu, among others, have paid the artist a visit, according to the Daily Sun, to pray and bless the bedridden musician.
“We heard she and her husband were in an accident on their way back from the Eastern Cape, where they were playing and promoting their music.
“They were driving their bakkie, which was loaded with instruments and gear.” Their gear was shattered, and she was hurt. She’s been confined to her bed for three months. We’ve come to express our solidarity with you as friends and artists.
