On Showmax, get ready for a third season of “Life With Kelly Khumalo.” The award-winning singer released the trailer for her reality show, which won a South African Film and Television Award (Safta) for Best Soap Structured Reality TV Show in the year 2021. The new season premieres on July 5th, with new episodes released every Tuesday thereafter.
Season three is set to see Khumalo at her most vulnerable. “Y’all gon know about me,” she captioned her Instagram image with this season’s tagline.
The new season teaser premieres in the midst of the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, which has made Khumalo’s name a trending topic on Twitter. “Senzo: Murder of a Soccer Star,” a true-crime documentary series on the footballer’s death, premiered on Netflix in April.
“The Voice of Africa,” which was nominated for a South African Music Award (Sama), went gold, “Empini,” which was nominated for an All Africa Music Award (Afrima), became her biggest hit and went quadruple platinum, “Esphambanweni,” which went double platinum, and “Ngathwala Ngaye,” which went platinum.
Khumalo will drop the beans about Senzo’s family this season, as well as Jub-Day Jub’s Mother’s social media messages and cancel culture.
