Emtee Takes Issue With Big Zulu’s 150 Bar Diss Track

Emtee finds Big Zulu’s 150-bar diss track offensive. Since SA hip hop became popular, it has gone through various periods. Most SA rappers have achieved popularity, and some have even developed into household names in the Mzansi entertainment sector. Amapiano has provided the rap game with fierce competition, leading some to declare it a “dead genre.”

Big Zulu made the decision to release a 150-bar diss track directed at all the well-known rappers in Mzansi in an effort to revive the rap scene in South Ah. While others embraced the opportunity to take on the challenge, some artists enjoyed Zulu’s diss tune. One of the few rappers that choose not to use the diss track is Emtee.

The Big Hustle stated on Twitter that he did not like a diss tune that discussed his problems in the SA hip hop industry. The rapper questioned whether it was the so-called hip-hop rebirth and stated that Big Zulu’s trash single is all about pursuing clout. “Yall be yapping about the current ‘hip hop renaissance,’ which is chasing clout?” Emtee tweeted.
