South Africans were stunned when DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz revealed they had secretly wed.
The mother of two revealed that her boyfriend’s family was at her home for a lobola negotiation on the first episode of the second season of her reality show, which aired on BET Africa. Jiyane added on the reality show The Unexpected that Murdah wants to be treated as a husband and not a boyfriend.
“Bongani wants her husband to be served. He no longer wants to be referred to as a boyfriend. Since you folks last saw me, a lot has changed, she declared.
Regarding their union, Zinhle claimed that Murdah’s family wanted things quiet, so she kept it for her show.

However, Zinhle is delighted to be referred to as a wife.
Simply put, I’ve never wanted to get married. But Bongani and I have spent a lot of time discussing it and considering what we want to do, she said. “I never wanted it and I never felt like I was with anybody I wanted to marry,” she said.
“I’m excited to do something I never would have believed would happen for me, and I’m excited to be his wife. I now love informing people that I am married, she continued.
