Following the DJ’s comment that Wizkid was the first Nigerian musician to use an Amapiano sound, Davido believes that DJ Maphorisa despises him.
Due to the ongoing conflict between South African and Nigerian musicians over the aforementioned genre, Wiz released a new Amapiano song on Wednesday that has received a lot of attention.
Maphorisa responded to a tweeter on Twitter who claimed that the If singer was the one to introduce the piano to Nigeria and popularize the genre.
Phori said, “Research before tweeting also it was the first time Wiz n Burna jumped on the same song together let that sink in. Kabza & Maphorisa was the first to put Wizkid n Burnaboy on an amapiano song Sponono it was a historical occasion 3 years ago.
When Davido saw Maphorisa’s post, he said that despite treating him nicely, the producer never likes him.
