Is actress Natasha Thahane officially married? Speculations have been rife as to the answer to the question following a series of pictures she shared on her verified Instagram page.
The picture she shared showed her in traditional attire with a delicate pattern, which some tweeps say is similar to clothes worn by a lady during traditional lobola negotiations. The actress herself didn’t help matters because she neither admitted nor denied anything with the post.
So the speculation heated up, with some suggesting that she had finally settled down with Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch despite prior claims that the two might no longer be together. There was a twist to the whole story because someone who attended the ceremony with Natasha also shared a picture from the supposed event.
It showed the actress rocking the same traditional dress, with a man (Lorch, allegedly) sitting beside her. But the said man was rocking a Gucci bucket hat, which was at odds with the traditional clothing others wore.
Much later, Lorch would share a picture at a black and white-themed party, similar to what Natasha had shared in September, indirectly suggesting that the image that led to the speculations about lobola was old and nothing had happened between them.
